Gum berry (Gunda) 10
Small Mango (Raw-Green) 5
Gram Flour 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Oil 1 tbsp
Red Chilli Powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder ½ ts
Coriander-Cumin Powder 1 ts
Garam Masala ½ ts
Jaggery grated 1 tbsp
Lemon Juice 1 ts
Oil 3 tbsp
Mustard Seeds ½ ts
Cumin Seeds ½ ts
Asafoetida Powder Pinch
Remove seeds inside Gum berries. Mix 1 tbsp of Salt and leave a side.
Remove seeds from Small Mangoes and leave seedless Mangoes a side.
Take Gram Flour in a bowl. Add Salt, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Coriander-Cumin Powder, Garam Masala, grated Jaggery, Lemon Juice and 1 tbsp Oil. Mix very well. Stuffing is ready.
Stuff seedless Gum berries and Small Mangoes with prepared stuffing.
Steam stuffed Gum berries and Small Mangoes in a steamer.
Heat Oil in a pan. Add Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds and Asafoetida Powder. When spluttered, add steamed Gum berries and Small Mangoes. Mix well slowly and cook on low flame for 5-6 minutes while turning it over occasionally to prevent burning.
Serve Hot with Chapatii or Naan or Paratha…
