Take Skinned and Split Green Gram with Ginger and Green Chilli in a suitable jar of your mixer to crush together. After crushing, remove in a bowl. Roll number of small flat breads (Puri) from dough. Put 1-2 tbsp of stuffing in the middle of flat bread. Stick border to give Gujiya / Ghughra / Farre shape. Also, you can use Moulds. Repeat to mould all Farre.

Steam all Farre.

Heat Oil in a pan on low flame. Add Mustard Seeds, Cumin Seeds, Asafoetida Powder, Curry Leaves, Dry Red Chilli and Sesame Seeds. When spluttered, add all Farre. Add Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Garam Masala, Sugar and Salt. Take care adding Salt as is used in stuffing also. Turn over Farre slowly to mix with all spices taking care of not breaking them. Use low flame to avoid burning of spices and Farre. This may take 2-3 minutes only.

Serve Hot with any Home Made Chutney or Ketchup.

Enjoy Light Version of Steamed Farre.
