Lasaniya Vatana (Garliciou Peas)

Ingredients:

Oil                                                        1 tbsp

Mustard Seeds                                    ½ ts

Cumin Seeds                                      ½ ts

Dry Red Chilli                                     2

Tamal Patra (Cinnamon Leaves)        2

Curry Leaves (Neem Leaves)             6 to 8

Ginger-Chilli Paste                              ½ tbsp

Garlic Paste                                        1 tbsp

Salted Peanut Powder                       2 tbsp

Fresh Green Peas                               1 cup

Salt to taste

Method:

Parboil Green Peas.

 

Heat oil In a pan. Temper with Mustard seeds, Cumin Seeds, Dry Red Chilli, Cinnamon Leaves, Curry Leaves. Add Ginger, Chilli and Garlic Paste. Mix well. Add Salted Peanut Powder and Parboiled Green Peas. Add Salt. Mix well while cooing at low medium flame. It may take 3-4 minutes.

 

Garnish with sprinkle of Salted Peanut Powder or grated or very small chopped Garlic.

 

This can be served as a side dish with main meal.
