Maize Flour 1 cup
Whole Wheat Flour 1 cup
Ghee 2 tbsp
Onion very small chopped 1
Tomato very small chopped 1
Fresh Coriander Leaves 1 tbsp
Green Chilli very small chopped 2
Salt to taste
Ghee for Pan Frying
Take Maize Flour, Whole Wheat Flour in a kneading bowl. Add Ghee and mix well. Add Onion, Tomato, Fresh Coriander Leaves, Green Chilli (add half the quantity of all these from the listed ingredients) and Salt. Mix well. Knead somehow stiff dough adding water slowly as needed.
Make medium size balls from dough. Roll thick Chapatti. Nothing to worry, borders will get little cracked while rolling. You will need Whole Wheat Flour while rolling to make it easier. That’s how it should be. When it is almost rolled, sprinkle little Onion, Tomato, Fresh Coriander Leaves and Green Chilli and roll little again to make sure that sprinkled stuff is properly fixed on the surface of Chapatti. Prepare number of Chapatti from all dough.
Shallow Fry to crunchy, all rolled Chapatti one by one.
Serve Fresh and Hot direct from the Pan. Serve with simply plain Curd and / or any Pickle of your taste. Also can be served with any Sauce or Ketchup of the choice. Better Taste with plain Curd.
