Corn Rajma Baked – Corn-Beans Baked

For Kidney Beans(rajma ):

Red Kidney Beans boiled                                            1 cup

Oil                                                                                2 tbsp

Ginger-Garlic-Chilli Paste                                           2 tbsp

Onion chopped                                                            2

Tomato Chopped                                                        2

Turmeric Powder                                                         1 ts

Red Chilli Powder                                                       2 ts

Coriander-Cumin Powder                                           1 ts

Garam Masala                                                1 ts

Lemon                                                                         ½

Salt to taste

Fresh Coriander Leaves                                             1 tbsp

For Corn Mixture:

Water                                                                          1 cup

Yellow Cornmeal                                                         ½ cup

Salt to taste


Cheese grated                                                1 ts


Heat oil in a pan. Add Ginger-Garlic-Chilli Paste. Add Onion and fry it light brownish. Add Tomato and mix well. Add Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Coriander-Cumin Powder and salt. Mix well. Add boiled Red Kidney Beans and little water. Cook for 3-4 minutes. Add Garam Masala, Lemon Juice and Fresh Coriander Leaves. Mix well and continue cooking for 1-2 minutes more only.


Boil water in another pan. Off the flame. Immediately, Mix Salt and Corn Flour in boiled water. Mix Butter.


Prepare a layer of Kidney Beans sauce on a Baking Plate. On top of that, prepare a layer of Corn Mixture. Sprinkle grated Cheese on the top.


Bake it in oven for 15 minutes at 180°F.


Sprinkle Fresh Coriander Leaves and grated Cheese to garnish.


Serve hot and fresh.


Be careful when eating. It may be hotter than it seems.
