Corn Chia Pan Cake

Cooking time 10 minutes

Yield 10 Pan Cakes



Maize Flour ½ cup

Spiced Oats crushed ½ cup

Chia Seeds soaked 1 tbsp

Salt to taste

Fresh Coriander Leaves 1 tbsp

Corn boiled ½ cup


Oil for greasing



Take all listed ingredients in a bowl. Add water as needed and prepare thick batter. Leave it to rest for 10 minutes


Preheat flat roasting pan. Grease heated pan with Oil. Pour approx 2 tbsp of prepared batter and spread in thick small round shape. When bottom side is roasted, flip it and roast another side. Roast both sided to dark brownish.


Repeat to prepare number of Pan Cake.


Serve Hot with homemade Green Chutney.
