Ingredients for Pie Crush:
Wheat Flour 1 cup
Refined White Wheat Flour
or Cake Flour or Maida 1 cup
Ghee ½ cup
Powder sugar 2 tbsp
Backing powder 1 ts
Milk powder 1 tbsp
Ingredients for Puran (Stuffing):
Ghee 1 tbsp
Split Pigeon Peas (Tuver dal) 1 cup
Sugar ¼ cup
Cardamom Powder Pinch
Soak Split Pigeon Peas for 2 hours than boil it.
Take 1 tbsp Ghee in a pan and fry the boiled Split Pigeon Peas until it becomes thick. Mix sugar and continue frying. Mix Cardamom Powder. Stuffing is ready.
Mix all ingredients for Pie Crush and prepare the dough.
Roll the dough to prepare like thick chapatti and set it in the pie mold. Fill it with stuffing and cover the Pie from the top. Brush the ghee on the top and back for 25 minutes at 180°C.
Brush the ghee again and serve.
