Thandai Phirni

Ingredients:
For Dry Powder:
Black Pepper 10
Cinnamon 1
Fennel Seeds 1 tbsp
Cardamom 5
Saffron Pinch
Poppy Seeds 1 tbsp
Dry Watermelon Seeds 1 tbsp
(Magajtari)
Sugar 2 tbsp
For Phirni:
Milk 2 cups
Sugar ¼ cup
Rose Petals 1 tbsp
Rice soaked 2 tbsp
Walnut crushed ¼ cup
Cream 2 tbsp
For Garnishing:
Almond small pieces or grated, Walnut pieces, Rose Petals
Method:
Crush all ingredients for Dry Powder in grinder all together.

Prepare a paste of soaked Rice in grinder.

Take Milk in a pan. Add Sugar, Rose Petals and Dry Powder. Boil this milk on slow medium flame for at least 15-20 minutes to make it thick. Stir occasionally while boiling. Add Rice Paste in it and continue boiling. When it becomes thick, add crushed Walnut and mix. Then, add Cream and mix.

Keep it in the fridge to chill.

Garnish with Almond pieces, Walnut pieces and Rose Petals.

Serve Chilled.

Celebrate with Thandai.
