Methi Corn Bhaji Pav – Fenugreek Leaves Corn Bhaji with Buns

Ghee                                                   1 tbsp

Capsicum chopped                             1

Tomato chopped                                 1

Fenugreek Leaves chopped               1 cup

Corn boiled                                          1 cup

Cottage Cheese                                  100 gm

Asafoetida Powder                              Pinch

Turmeric Powder                                 1 ts

Red Chilli Powder                               1 ts

Cumin Seeds                                      1 ts

Garam Masala                        1 ts

Salt to taste

Lemon                                                 ½

Fresh Coriander Leaves                     1 tbsp

Buns for serving


Heat Ghee in a pan on low flame. Add Asafoetida Powder and Cumin Seeds. When spluttered, add Capsicum and Tomato. When fried, Turmeric Powder, Red Chilli Powder, Garam Masala and Salt. Mix well. No water please. Add chopped Fenugreek Leaves and boiled Corn. Mix well while continue cooking on low flame for 2-3 minutes. Add Cottage Cheese and Lemon Juice. Mix well. Remove the pan from flame.


Sprinkle Fresh Coriander Leaves. Put a tbsp of Ghee on the top at the time of serving along with Buns.


The Dish can be escorted with Papadam and a glass of Buttermilk.
