Prep.10 min, Cooking Time 15 min., Yield 6 pcs.
For Outer Layer:
Milk ¼ cup
Water ¼ cup
Rice Flour 1 cup
Ghee 1 ts
Sesame Seeds 1 ts
For Stuffing :
Ghee 2 tbsp
Carrot grated 2 pcs.
Condensed Milk ¼ cup
Nuts 2 tbsp
Cardamom Powder 1 pinch
Get 2 tbsp of Ghee in the pan and panfry grated carrot in it. Add the condensed milk and let it be cooked until it gets brownish. Remove the pan from the heat and mix the cardamom powder and nuts. Stuffing is ready.
In another pan, take the water and boil it, when it starts bubbling, reduce the heat and add rice flour to mix it very well until it becomes dough. Remove the pan from the heat.
Mix ghee and sesame seeds and let it cool down than knead.
Fill in the Modak mold with the dough and fill in the stuffing. Prepare all Modak in this way.
Steam all Modak for 5 minutes and serve.
