Besan Pasta – Fresh Pasta – Gram Pasta

Ingredients:

For Pasta:

Gram Flour                              1 cup

Whole Wheat Flour                 1 cup

Chilli Flakes                             ½ ts

Oregano                                  ½ ts

Oil                                            1 ts

Salt to taste

For Sauce:

Oil                                            1 ts

Butter                                      1 tbsp

Garlic Paste                            1 ts

Onion chopped                        1

Tomato Puree                         1 cup

Chilli Flakes                             1 ts

Oregano                                  1 ts

Ketchup                                   1 ts

Tabasco Sauce                       ½ ts

Cream                                     1 ts

Corn Flour Slurry                     1 ts

Cheese grated

Olives

Butter to Shallow Fry

Method:

For Pasta:

Take Gram Flour and Whole Wheat Flour in a kneading bowl. Add Chilli Flakes, Oregano, Oil and Salt. Mix well. Knead little soft dough adding water slowly as needed.

 

Make small balls from dough. Roll somehow thick Chapatti from balls. Cut all Chapatti in rectangular shape. Shape cut Chapatti like Bow. Prepare all Pasta in this style. Boil all Pasta on medium flame. Add little oil in boiling water to avoid Pasta sticking at the bottom of the pan. Strain the water.

For Sauce:

Heat Oil and Butter in a pan. Add chopped Onion and cook it to soften. Add Garlic Paste, Tomato Puree, Chilli Flakes, Oregano and mix well. Add Ketchup, Tabasco Sauce, Cream and Corn Flour Slurry. Mix well to prepare Sauce.

 

Heat Butter on low flame in a pan for Shallow frying. Sauté Pasta. (Shallow Fry quickly). Do it quickly to avoid Pasta to stick at the bottom of the Pan. Add prepared Sauce. Turn over the stuff slowly to mix well taking care of not crushing Pasta. Keep low flame for all this time. It may take 2-3 minutes only.

 

Garnish with sprinkle of grated Cheese and arranging Olives.

 

Enjoy so called JUNK but converted Fresh and Healthy Pasta.
