Stuffed Banana Wada – Stuffed Banana Fritters

Ingredients:

Ripe Banana                                       2

Oil to Deep Fry

For Batter:

Gram Flour                ½ cup

Red Chilli Powder         ½ ts

Coriander-Cumin Powder    ½ ts

Garam Masala              ½ ts

Soda-bi-Carb              Pinch

Salt to taste

Water

For Stuffing:

Ginger-Chilli Paste                      1 tbsp

Red Chilli Powder                        1 ts

Turmeric Powder                          1 ts

Coriander-Cumin Powder                   2 ts

Garam Masala                        1 ts

Mango Powder (Aamchur)                  1 ts

Dry Coconut Powder   grated             2 ts

Gram Flour Vermicelli (Sev)              2 tbsp

Fresh Coriander Leaves                   1 ts

Salt to taste

Method:

For Batter:

Take Gram Flour in a bowl. Add Red Chilli Powder, Coriander-Cumin Powder, Garam Masala, Soda and Salt. Mix well while adding water slowly. Prepare thick batter.

 

For Stuffing:

In another bowl, mix all ingredients for stuffing. No water please. Mix very well.

 

For Banana Fry:

Cut Banana to make it look like scoop. Fill in with stuffing.

 

Heat oil in deep pan for frying. Dip stuffed Banana in batter, put immediately in heated oil to deep fry.

 

Serve hot with any home made Chutney or Ketchup. Better taste with Hot & Sweet Sauce.
