Ghav ni Biryani – Wheat Biryani – Whole Wheat Biryani

Prep.10 min., Cooking time 30 min., Qty. 4 Plates

Ingredients:
Wheat grains boiled 1 cup
Oil 3 tbsp
Cinnamon Leaves 2
Curry Leaves 4-5
Dry Red Chilli 2
Ginger-Garlic-Chilli Paste 1 tbsp
Spring Onion chopped ½ cup
Capsicum chopped big peices ½ cup
Tomatoes chopped big pieces of 2 tomatoes
Mix Vegetables boiled big pieces 2 cups
(Carrot, French Beans, Green Peas, Potato, Coli Flower)
Red Chilli Powder 1 tbsp
Turmeric Powder 1 ts
Coriander-Cumin Powder 1 ts
Garam Masala 1 ts
Fennel Seed Powder 1 tbsp
Fresh Coriander Leaves 2 tbsp
Cashew Nuts fried ¼ cup
Salt to taste
Method:
Soak Wheat grains for approx 8 hours then boil. Strain the water and keep ready to use later.

Heat Oil in a pan. Add Cinnamon Leaves, Curry Leaves, Dry Red Chilli and Ginger-Garlic-Chilli Paste. When fried, add Spring Onion, Capsicum and Tomatoes. Stir slowly taking care of not crushing the stuff. Add Salt, Red Chilli Powder, Turmeric Powder, Coriander-Cumin Powder, Garam Masala and Fennel Seed Powder. Stir slowly to mix well again taking care of not crushing the stuff in the pan. Add boiled Mix Vegetables and mix well. Add boiled Wheat grains and mix well.

Garnish with sprinkle of Fresh Coriander Leaves and fried Cashew Nuts.

Enjoy Healthy Biryani with Iron and Vitamins rich Wheat grains.
